Bowmore's sherry finished 15 year old miniature. It's finished for three years in oloroso sherry casks for rich, chocolatey and spicy flavour along with Bowmore's trademark maritime peatiness. To my mind, one of the finest single malt Scotch whiskies ever.
Nose: Dark and punchy. Sherry notes, juicy Corinth raisins. Spices. Creamy, mochaccino, sweet dates.
Palate: Rich, woody, pine oil. Syrupy. Lovely, creamy toffee and malt. Smoky.
Finish: Spicy, toffee, sherry, barley.
